1 Day LEAVE APPROVED !!

Both dady n mumy has long dreamt of going on leave on a beautiful SUNDAY. But it remained a dream since you both arrived.
But it was bingo last Sunday, the two of you tagged along your kung2 & poh2 to Menglembu, Ipoh & Sg.Siput for a nite stay at some relatives' home. Mom's hometown is in Sungai Siput & my family had lived in Menglembu for about 4-5 years, the name I call my place of birth. But we moved back to PJ for good when I was barely 3! So my memories of the place was rather blur..........
As my boys had been under the care/supervision of my parents since birth, it was never a problem for them to be away following their maternal grandparents without dady & mumy!!

Mom prefers to start the journey around 2-3pm knowing that was the napping time of my 2 monkeys. Making sure that they knock out through out the journey would definitely give the rest a breather...........and that journey was indeed a quiet one as they doze off in the car!

Here are the 2 notties getting very excited with the departure................

The 7-seater MPV was used just to cater for their need to sleep...........actually my mom refused to use this MPV coz it consumes almost double the petrol......walau ehh !!! But no choice loh, the 2 kings' needs were more superior.........hehehehe, some more dady willing to subsidise a lil bit ma !!!!

Then what do you boys think dady & mumy will do in your absence????
Hehehehehehehe................Hahahahahahahaha.......................jeng jeng jeng.....................

*Nah nah nah..................here was where dady & mumy ended up..................

It was such an unusually golden opportunity so we had better made sure we made the most out of it! So we settled with a 3 hour spa indulgence:
1) scrub, scrub & scrub
2) yoghurt splash mask (for me) & seaweed wrap for detox (for huby........finally he had a feel of how we lady did our slimming session udr the hot blanket !!!)
3) ear candle treatment
4) steam bath
5) full body aromatherapy massage
6) facial (for me) & foot reflexology (for huby)

The ear candle treatment was my first time & I had used to be very sceptical in trying one. But it turned out to be ok & I would consider doing it again! It works like this............ a special paper folded into the shape of a pencil was place on top of a tiny bamboo stick which has a hole of the size of our ear hole. Then the stick was placed into the ear hole where a little uncomforable feeling was encountered. The candle was then litted up with fire. The sound of burning which goes ......pili, palak, pili, palak.... was also a bit scary. But after 1 or 2 minutes plus once the brain started to adapt to it, you will feel relax..............
Once the treatment was done, the folded paper would then be taken out to check the condition of the 'discharge' from your ear which would tell whether your level of toxin & wax were good or bad !!! But i still doubt how true it was.................

Both of us also fall asleep occassionally during the session with snores..........eeee, so embarassing but no choice very tired la........can't help it!!
Immediately after the session, we were even more tired & the body was actually ache a bit........guess it must have been the lazying for too long........i mean 3 hours was long man................
Then, we walked a bit around the shopping mall to bring back our soul & spirit which had gone astray to nowhere.................

Next, we have to decide our dinner. Since it was such a golden or platinum chance to dine WITH PEACE...........only 2 of us...........can be romantically spent so we better make sure we go for something we had LONGGGGGGG for!!
Finally, we made up our mind to go eat CRABsssssssss as SLOW & as MUCH as we had wanted to!!
My 2 notties like to eat crab very much too...........well inherited!! So, every time there was crab eating session, dady & mumy would be busy blasting the shells & feed them until we have never had enough of it! So this was yet another rare opportunity that we shouldn't missed!
Here was where we landed ourselves. It was our first time & my fussy eater huby had given his thumb up for the butter cheese crab in claypot!!

YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY !!

Prawn ball with sotong sambal !!!

But then boys..............mumy & dady didn't just indulged ourselves & forget about you guys!
Before that, we gave you great indulgences too. You guys had wanted ice-creams but you only wanted Baskin Rob*n & Haagen Da@ & not any others!!! You say you demanding or not???
And I didn't even realised (meaning i dun buy it often enough) that Haagen Da@ was so damn expensive.............double the price of the Baskin Rob*n..........seow meh, u think i'm gonna come back again.........nah dream twice!!!

Over at Ipoh, my mom said that my 2 notties really ate a lot........they were so playful around with their cousins there & had enjoyed themselves so much until they totally forgot about dady & mumy! Mom said they didn't even asked about us at all.....sob sob sob, big boy edi la !!
Then, they had their first sight of a rambutan tree which was planted right at the front porch of my uncle house. They got so excited & joined their cousin in plucking the rambutan there & then to eat! I believe these are the activities that they could hardly have a chance to play with in town.
On the way back, everyone was in deep stress handling my 2 monkeys in the car as they were so energetic & refuse to sleep.
Overall, i'm pretty glad that they didn't gave much of a problem in a vacation like this except the fatigueness to the caregivers!!
