Eye On Malaysia

Finally we have a weekend that was 'free'..........no appointment, no gathering.....just plain freedom. So, there itchy dady & mumy can't stay peacefully at home but decided to check out one of the hotly promoted spot in conjunction with the 2007 Visit Malaysia Year.

We heard a lot about this "EYE" thingy but 'scare' to give it a try.............as u know lar.....with M'sia anything can happen but ever since we overheard the radio station mentioned that this is only a temporary setting which will be demolished at the end of the year, we thought we should not be too kiasu & kiasi. Anyway, our ultimate intention was to give the boys a good ride experience!

Looks like the 'authority' indeed did a great job, the park has been well maintained, food stalls were seen to accommodate savoury needs, souvenir shops along the street, animal 'mascots' were there to entertain the kids too..........kudos!!

Even along the queuing pathway, we saw ceiling fans.....isn't that consideration....just in case the weather is screamingly hot...........but luckily this morning, the weather was extremely fine so we didn't really sweat much!!

And look at the ticket booth below...............cool ehh???

Check out the price in case you are interested.............it's no joke ehh, quite expensive for a ride of our family size......total about RM46.

Here the boys looked very curious but definitely enjoying themselves in the 'gondola'......yeah that's the term for it !!!

As we enjoyed the lake view scenery's up there, we also checked out the gadgets installed in the gondola...........so kepoh heh???

COOL........COOL..........just simply COOL !!!

Hi-tech too.............caya lah !!!

We even counted the number of rounds the ride actually took us.......it was 5 rounds of enjoyment.........slow, relax & quiet ambiance for a short but worthy chat !!

So if that interest you, go pop up anytime before 31/12/2007. Below notice confirmed that it will only be operative up to then..........

That journey left us all feeling exhausted & hungry so we hurried to Maju Palace(Oriental) restaurant at Maju Junction for dim sum brunch. It was a good time to eat here during the WEEKEND coz there was 30% discount offered for all dim sum.

Very good offering of 'dim sum'................

Alamak, must find one day to visit the 'Eye' before it 'goes off'. Thanks so much for the info.

Des loves to ride in Ferris Wheels, esp the one in Genting. She will not ride in it only once, at least a few times. If there is any Fun Park (or is it Funfair?) around, she's sure to 'beg' Pappy to take her to ride in the Ferris Wheel which we are so scared by the 'old age' look.
