**UPDATES** Chicken Pox visiting...

Updated:

I was just too early to assume that Scot could escape from the chicken pox saga which apparently was circulating around his circle of friends in their school! We noticed d symptom late last Sunday and by this morning, actually all has dried up. Since dady had very much earlier arranged for a seminar today by his supplier (who travelled from elsewhere), he can't assume the "mother hen" role in babysitting the boys......so as mumy, whose reporting deadline happened to fall on today too!!

So mumy took a 'not so smart' step by sending the boys straight to the school without informing or discussing it with the principal first. I thought he was already 90% recovered.....but according to his principal, that could be the time virus spreads easily.....sigh!!

Ya ya ya it was my mistake again. So very unfortunately, the boys were rejected. Suddenly, we became 'kelam-kabut'.........both of us were already in a hurry!!

In the end, we knew we got no choice but to rush all the way sending the boys to my parents!!

We felt a bit offended by the 'cold' treatment.....as after all, my kid also got it from the school..... so we were both damn angry !!!
Anyway, that evening as we approached home after work, Scot was exceptionally moody & down! When I got near him, he kept his head down all the way & hugged me tight......holding on to his cry and said: "i want dady & mumy" !! He has never showed such emotions before & that was really pain for my eyes!! Suddenly i felt so guilty to my kids.....they became more demanding....and the more they demand, the more i felt like fulfilling. The boys yearn for attention & wanted some goodies (candy, ice-cream, chocolate etc etc) to compensate the lack of attention from us.
So with such weak heart that night, my mind can only said yes, yes, yes.....after dinner at mom's place, i promised to bring them to 7-eleven to get some goodies.......

In the end, i see two lil cheeky faces again..............

I still couldn't figure out how did Sean infected with chicken pox last Monday (despite completed all his immunization jabs on time). I had initially mistook it as mosquito bites and it was his school principal that discovered it was chicken pox & the poor boy has to be quarantined in the Principal's office until dady's arrival to pick him up from school.

Dady proceeded to the Paed. office to confirm the disease (which was obviously confirmed) and medications were prescribed too. Having said all, i should be very relief as despite having chicken pox, Sean was just as active & as healthy as the usual him! No fever, no itchiness, no fuss...even appetite was as good too! Phewwww.........

As he has taken all his jabs, there were only a few "red pop" here & there and they started to dry up by the 3rd day! It was even blessed that Scot did not caught up with it despite eating & sleeping together!

Btw, even if it is a school holiday now, the boys were supposed to be at their school for 1/2 day care until our replacement maid arrive! But for the past week, the boys were obviously barred from going to the school for day care.......so how?? PohPoh & KungKung will only be able to take over bbsitting after lunch. No choice la.....dady has to assume the bbsitting role!!

Again I felt blessed that huby is not under employment like mumy....else, we will land ourselves in another dead end!! So, dady has to work from home & mind the boys at the same time!! Should huby needs to be back to his office, it was just 5 mins from home. There was a day, huby needed to go to the warehouse to pick up some goods & delivered to his customers. Out of no choice poor dady has to tag along the 2 little boys.....that needless to say would disturbed dady along the way! Then the father+sons dropped by at the customer's office.

Boy boy boy.....i can't imagine the sight of a man supposingly walking into the office for business but was followed by 2 little chicks........bet people would find it amusing too!!

Like the chinese saying, instead of:

"kai na tai kai chai"/(the Hen minding the chicks)

it was a scenario of:

"kai kung tai kai chai"/(the Cock minding the chicks)

How can i thank my man? Maybe i shouldn't be complaining doing house chores anymore.......

" S I E N " i.e. boring

Just hope that Sean will fully recover by end of this week & start going back to school next week ...hence, relief dady from the bbsitting jobs!!

Karl had his chicken pox despite the jab too but don't worry, kids with jab will have a milder chicken pox.

I can remember when Christine had chicken pox, she had just lost her front teeth and was looking at the mirror and admitted that "Gee Daddy I look ugly now"
Very depressing for a girl!!
