Some findings to share......and more baking too !!

The ultimate highlight of this post is about the unexpected discovery of this 'little' non-stick fying pan.........looks familiar isn't it? I've had my eyes on it long ago when i was hungrily hunting for bento gears but i had turned down my desire due to the high price.....think it is easily more than RM20 each via e-bay/nst!! Since this was ONLY RM4.50, why not giving it a try leh......but obviously i'm not sure of d performance yet...

So cute & CHEAP hor........

Btw, i got it from Bake with yen, a bakery supplier and these are some other loots....

Thru out my short baking days, i've got a number of paper cupcakes for my baking, the reason some of which was because of its' look! But after experiencing using them, i still find that the below typical folded type of cup is the most durable & manageable one!

Below are the various paper cups in my store, some are too soft thus not so manageable, some too big size & the dark brown one is too thin & dry....easily torn!

And i also found another cheap cheap scale from 'the store' lately. It was so small & cute that for a moment i thought it was a toy....haha. Btw, it only costs me RM9.90 so a good investment i guess!!

Side track a bit, last Friday the baking bugs continued to bite.....so since i was trying to finish the final batch of the blueberry pre-mix flour, i baked again. This time, i decided to try this frosting "LEMON CREAM CHEESE ICING" which i copied from the net. Apart from being a little watery at room temperature, hence tempering my intention to do flower decor, once they were chilled, they tasted very 'ok' (if u r not freak out of 'sugar' & 'fat' la.....)!! It wasn't a healthy choice but heck, tell me which part of a cake is consider healthy !!!

Next, i wanna try to come out with the 'pink....pink....pink' cupcakes, like hers .....so lovely !!!

Happy Baking !!

Wow, I'd love to buy those pans too! I don't think I've seen them in Bangkok.

The cute non-stick frying pan is really cheap. Guess u must take vy good care of it, otherwise it'll get scratched vy easily?
Thx for the tip abt the paper cups. Will keep that in mind if I start 'experimenting' with cupcakes. :)
